Eleven: Up and Under |
A particular instance of the Element of Surprise,
this will allow you to gain the best position for a belly attack
on a bomber or inattentive fighter. When you are positioned above
and behind the target, dive to increase your speed. Once under and
slightly to the rear of the target, pull up sharply, close on the
target, and open your guns. Stay in the target's blind spot to
make the most of the opportunity for a quick kill.
Tips for success:
- As you begin to regain your altitude, you will lose speed.
This makes you vulnerable to the bomber's gunner fire. If you
take too many hits, roll out to the side and level out.
